Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a non-surgical method used for treating many skin conditions including benign skin growths or viral warts. It is performed with liquid nitrogen achieving extremely low temperatures – up to minus 196 ° C. Depending on the thickness and type of skin change liquid nitrogen is applied directly through a special spray or swab for a few or maximum 60 seconds. In order to achieve a beneficial effect cryotherapy should be repeated every 7 to 14 days. After the treatment on the site where liquid nitrogen was applied a blister can be formed which will eventually result in epithelization.

Electrocautery

Electrocautery is an effective method for removing benign tumorous growths such as soft skin tags on the neck, armpit, genital and perineal region. By using very thin needles this method is also used in treating dilated capillaries (telangiectasia) on the face with excellent results.
